hier bin ich mir nicht sicher. Zum einen kenn ich das Wort callours nicht.
Soll das evtl. calluous heißen? Ich weiß nicht, ob das Wort dann advantage
oder took beschreiben soll. Je nachdem kommt ly oder nicht.

Es gibt das Adjectiv "callous" (gefühllos, herzlos), und mit dem Adverb sieht der Satz dann so aus:

The thief took callously advantage of the situation.

Der Dieb nutzte kaltherzig die Situation aus.
