Hallo Leute! Habe hier einen selbstgeschriebenen Text über Reisewege nach London - wäre sehr cool wenn Ihr diesen Text korrigiert oder Verbesserungsvorschläge macht!



If I spend a weekend in London, there will be a few ways to travelling from Germany to London. But all the routes over the channel have advantages and disadvantages especially in time and price. The quickest and shortest way to travel is about the Channel Tunnel. It links Coquelles, a village south of Calais, to Cheriton near Folkestone. The tunnel is about 50 kilometres long, of which 48 kilometres under the sea. Also it is the best route if you get seasick easily. Some disadvantages are that you only can travel by train and it is more expensive than some ferry routes. If you love the sea and ships and you must travel by car, you will take a ferry. But on the other hand it is the longest way. In addition some routes are more expensive, other routes are cheaper than the Channel Tunnel.

In case I want to spend/Should I ever want to spend/Next time I feel like spending a weekend in London, there are various ways of travelling from Germany to London. But all the routes over the Channel have advantages and disadvantages, especially regarding time and price.
The quickest and shortest way is through the Channel Tunnel. It links Coquelles, a village south of Calais, to Cheriton near Folkestone. The tunnel is about 50 kilometres long, of which 48 kilometres are under the sea/undersea. It certainly is the best route if you get seasick easily. But there are some disadvantages, e.g. you can only travel by train and it is more expensive than some ferry routes. (Es gibt jedoch auch Züge, auf denen Du Dein Auto/Deinen LKW oder was mitführen kannst, natürlich. Ist bloß echt teuer)
But of course you will prefer going by ferry if you love the sea and ships and you have to take your car. However, there is the disadvantage that this way of crossing takes longest. In addition to that, some routes are more expensive, other routes are cheaper than the Channel Tunnel.

Du hast gar nicht die Möglichkeit des Fliegens erwähnt (von Kanalschwimmen will ich gar nicht reden, Quack Quack!)

Auch da gibt es natürlich feine Unterschiede:
- Standard Flugreisen (Business- / Economy Class)
- Komfort und Flexibilität im gechartertem Learjet
- Ballonfahrt
- Seereise mit Passagierschiff
- Segeltörn mit einer Yacht
