hallöchenn ich habe eine kleine zusammenfassung in englisch über einen diamant geschrieben.. könnte jemand es korrigieren ??

in South Africa was the pear-shaped diamond discovered and in 1969 it was in an auction. Cartier bought it for over one million dollars. Richard Burton on the very next day it was bought by the cartier and since then is the diamond "Taylor-Burton Diamond". Elizabeth Taylor wore the diamond as the first for the 40th birthday. They were often seen with the diamond and she loved it. Taylor decided to sell the diamond for three million dollars after the decision in 1978. a hospital was built with the money in Botswana, Africa.

Fast alle Teile Deines Satzes waren richtig, aber in der falschen Reihenfolge. Im englischen Satz kommt in der Regel: erst das Subjekt (wer oder was tut etwas), dann das Prädikat (was wird getan) dann das Objekt, wenn eines vorhanden ist. Bei Angaben zu Ort und Zeit einer Handlung kommt immer erst der Ort, dann die Zeit.

Cartier purchased it for more than one million dollars and on the very next day Richard Burton bought it from Cartier. The diamond has been called the "Taylor-Burton Diamond" eversince. Elizabeth Taylor wore it for the first time on her 40th birthday. The couple was often seen with the diamond and she loved it. Later, Taylor decided to sell the diamond for three million dollars. Nein, das war tatsächlich ein wirklicher und abscheulicher Rechtschreibfehler. Ein Wort, das ich ab und zu gehört, aber wohl selten geschrieben habe - ich habe etwas dazu gelernt und danke freundlich!
