Hallo(= guten Tag ich hab am Montag Klassenarbeit und muss einen Review über ein buch oder film schreiben schreiben. Hab jz als Übung einen geschrieben kann da wer bitte drüberlesen korrigieren und Verbesserungsvorschläge Machen?

The interesting book which was written by Lois Lowry is called the giver The novel was published in the year 1990 and it became a bestseller. The book is set in the fortune and tells the story of a young boy who is named Jonas. He lives in a special and unusual community. The Main protagonists of the book are Jonas, Fiona ,Gabriel and the receiver of memories.


The main character Jonas lives in a very close community with many strange rules. For example they aren't allowed to lie or the aren't allowed to go out at night. In addition there are no emotion or suffering, for instance the member of the community don't know feelings, like love or hate or even nothing about because a medicine prevent all these human emotions . Anything is very strict organized in the community . For example at the age of 12 they children get their professions and roles in the community. Jonas is chosen to be the new receiver of memories . The receiver of Memories is the most important person of the community because he knows the past and all feelings.


First of all the book is divided in chapters from 1 to 23 without titles. The location and the characters are described very well and the reader gets a great impression of the strictly organized community. Ass well as that the book is written in good English which is easy to understand . I also want to mention that the storyline is very great and leaves no room for boredom.
I would highly recommend this Book because it has all of the ingredients’ to be of a masterpiece.

(das gilt für alle Menschen) or the aren't allowed to go out at night. In addition there are no emotions or sufferings, for instance the member of the community don't know feelings, like love or hate or even nothing about because a medicine prevent them from all these human emotions. (Or: They even get medicine to prevent them from all the human emotions such as sufferings or feelings. Thus they cannot remember any of their feelings of love or hate or whatever.) Everything is very strictly organized in the community. For example at the age of 12 they children are assigned their fields of professions and roles in the community. Jonas has been chosen to be the new receiver of memories. The receiver of memories is the most important person of the community because he knows the past and all feelings.
