The person I would like to indroduce is Tony from the story Holding Pattern/In the Wilds. He works in the field of jurisorudence as a barrister. Tony is of average build and he often wears draft for his job. The wife divorced him, but they have a son together who's name is Ant. Ant attends the same private school as Tony attended before him. The son of Tony wishes he could attend the Creative Arts High School, but this is a silly and unacceptable proposal in Tony's opinion. From his point of view there is no alternative to this public school, because it is more or less a family tradition. The decisions for Ant takes his father Tony.
Tony and his son Ant make trips rarely, because his Tony is very busy.
If they make a trip in wildness, Tony to see to it that his son is in ordner. Tony think that Ant needs him, altough Ant tries to win self-confident.
Summing up it can be said that Tony is precautionary father, who tries to make the best one for Ant, but the expectations and presure of Tony makes him feel very insecure and sad.
