Pronoun????

Könnt ihr mir erklären was ein Pronoun ist. Ich habe es beim Test bekommen, aber ich wusste nicht wie man es schreibt. Ich weiß nur das es ein Pronomen ist.

Könnt ihr es schreiben?

Hi memoli,

A pronoun is a word that can be substituted for a noun, noun phrase, or other pronoun.
e.g.:

I met Tim yesterday. --> I met him yesterday. (Personal Pronoun)

The little boy cried. --> He cried. (Personal Pronoun)

I saw myself on TV. (Reflexive Pronoun)

These are the looks that chill to the bone. (Demonstrative Pronoun)

What do you think? (Interrogative Pronoun)

The girl who/that cried. (Relative Pronoun)
