könnte mir jemand vielleicht helfen mein summary zu korrigieren und zu verbessern? Besonders Grammatik, Zeichensetzung und Stil sind zu beachten =)..
The artical “Pardon My French” by Michael Kimmelman deals with the problem of some French people who think that the French culture is suffering because it is more spoken by people outside of France. They worry not only about the influences of immigrants, but also about the elite in France, which is more and more using the English language and because of this they are concerned that French gets lost. However, the author says that French isn’t declining, quite the contrary, that it is thriving, especially in Africa, because they use French as a common language so they can communicate since they have so many different dialects and in addition to this prosperity also the literature outside of France is an aspect to the flourishing of French. Nevertheless they keep their own culture and politic point of view, because French doesn’t essentially mean that they have the same opinion as the people in France. In reference to the Africans or to other people outside of France, who immigrated, the author says that there are problems with the assimilation although they always talk about good intergration.

The article “Pardon My French” by Michael Kimmelman deals with a problem some/a lot of French people have, who think that the French culture is declining, because more French is spoken by people outside of France than in the country itself. They are not only worried about the influences of immigrants, but also about the elite in France, who are using the English language more and more. They are concerned that French will finally be forgotten and lost.
However, the author says that French is not on the decline, to the contrary, but that it is thriving, especially in Africa. Here French is used as a common language by those people who originally speak many different dialects. In addition to this prosperity, the literature outsideofFrance is another proof of the flourishing of the French language.
However, they (nicht schön!!) stick to their own culture and political points of view, because speaking French does not necessarily imply that they share the opinions of the people in France. In reference to the Africans or to emigrants from France, the author says that there are problems with the assimilation although they (who???) always talk about good intergration.

Du siehst, das meiste sind Ausdruck-Verbesserungen. Schau Dir die Vorschläge an und frage gerne nach, wenn Du was nicht verstehst.Nebenbei: Die Überschrift ist ein Wortspiel. Im Englischen wird diese Redewendung meistens etwas ironisch und scherzhaft verwendet, wenn man etwas Böses sagen will, also etwa ein Schimpfwort oder ein Vorurteil usw. Dann tut man so, als ob dieses Böse eigentlich ein französisches Wort sei. Im Deutschen haben wir so etwas ähnliches, wir sagen dann "auf gut Deutsch" oder sowas.

vielen Dank! Was würde ich nur dafür geben, solche Englischkenntnisse zu besitzen 
zum Text:
für das erste 'they': the people, who are speaking French outside of France,...
für das zweite 'they': although in France they always talk about..
dann noch wegen dem 'emigrants', statt 'who are immigrated'. Das sind ja 2 verschiedene Bedeutungen. Ich meine ja die Leute die nach Frankreich gekommen sind und da leben wollten, dass die es dort schwer haben. Nicht die Leute die aus Frankreich ausgewandert sind (emigrants).

Stimmt, da habe ich mich durch "people outside of France" in die falsche Richtung gedreht. Das sind dann "immigrants to", ganz klar. Allerdings verstehe ich nicht so ganz, wo sich die Afrikaner nun aufhalten? Geht es um Afrikaner in Afrika? Oder afrikanische Immigranten in Frankreich?
