simple present oder present continuous

Hallo,

ich habe einen Text in den ich die Verben in das simple present oder present continuous setzen soll.

She (to read) a book.
Meanwhile Robin (to work) in the kitchen.
She (to prepare) breakfast for the family.
First she (to make) some toast ,then she (to lay) the table.
At last breakfast (to be) ready.But where (to be) Michael and Ralph?
Finally Sandra (to see) them.
Michael and Ralph (to repair) a bike.
Kevin sometimes (to help) them,but today he (to repair) mother's video.
At last they all (to join) Sandra in the kitchen.
Now the family (to have) breakfast.

Meine Lösung wäre :

She reads a book.
Meanwhile Robin works in the kitchen.
She is preparing breakfast for the family.
First she makes some toast,then she lays the table.
At last breakfast is ready.But where are Michael and Ralph?
Finally Sandra is seeing them.
Michael and Ralph repairs a bike.
Kevin sometimes help them,but today he is repairing mother´s video.
At last they all join Sandra in the kitchen.
Now the family having breakfast.

Meine Lösung wäre :

She reads a book. (Weil es sich hier um eine länger andauernde Tätigkeit handelt (Lesen) würde ich sagen: "She is reading a book.")
Meanwhile Robin works in the kitchen. (s.o. -> "Meanwhile Robin is working in the kitchen.")
She is preparing breakfast for the family. OK
First she makes some toast, then she lays the table. OK
At last breakfast is ready. But where are Michael and Ralph? OK
Finally Sandra is seeing them. ("see" gehört zu den Verben, die nicht wirklich eine Tätigkeit beschreiben, deren Verlauf betont werden kann. "sehen" bedeutet mit den Augen zur Kenntnis nehmen, also punktuell, anders wäre es bei "look at", "ansehen" kann man sich etwas über eine längere Zeit, also: "...sees them.")
Michael and Ralph repairs a bike. (s.o., länger andauernde Handlung, außerdem sind es 2 Personen, also wäre das "s" hinten am Prädikat auch falsch gewesen. also: "...are repairing...")
Kevin sometimes helps them, but today he is repairing mother's video. (Hier hätte das "s" drangehört, weil es 3. Person Singular ist, aber sonst ist es richtig.)
At last they all join Sandra in the kitchen. OK
Now the family is having breakfast. (Form von "be" vergessen)

Ist das richtig oder falsch?

für deine Hilfe.Ich weiss auch nicht, aber ich schmeiss das mit der Gramatik immer durch einander.Ich kann mir das nie merken.
