Dear Sir and Madam,
I am writing to ask if there might be a vacant position for an internship in your company from 11. 10. 2010 to 29.10. 2010.
I have been doing an apprenticeship as an office assistant and foreign language secretary since August of this year.
I would like acquire insight into different
area of the business to find out my interests and forte.
As the enclosed resume shows, I worked as a secretary at the
St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University and fulfilled basics tasks.
The importance of international mobility for students is becoming more and more emphasized and I am very eager to gain practical experience by working abroad. This will not only help to improve prospects for my future professional career, but will allow me to learn more about your country and culture as well.
My mother tongue is Russian. As I have been living in Germany for 6 years, I can speak, read and write German fluently. I have learned English for 5 years and I attended an Intensive 4-week English course at Galway Cultural Institute in Ireland. Since August of this year I have been learning Spanish.
I would very much welcome the opportunity to do my internship with your company and would appreciate your reply.
