I had to write a comment about a song "My global mind" by Queensryche. It's about globalization and its consequences.
Please give me some help and advices.

In this comment I’m giving my view on the song “My global mind” and its message. The song reflects the changes on the world due to globalization.
The main invention at this time is the internet which gives us the great opportunity to acquire any detail about everything you want to know. Although the globalization created some good inventions, it produced a lot of problems:
Firstly, because of an overfilled amount of information on the internet one can hardly form one’s opinion, so you just have to google what you looking for and you’re surely going to find many hits. Thus you don’t have to think by yourself.
Secondly, there are a lot of changes happening on the earth due to globalization, wherefore one is overwhelmed with things like new technology. In addition to this you can’t really decide what’s best for you. The words “drown in changes” (l.9) distinguish my point.
Thirdly, even if you see on the internet how children in poor countries starve, you won’t undertake (unternehmen) something against it. It’s like in the song text “At the touch of a button, I’m miles away”. After another click on a button, you forgot about those starving children. But remember those kids will be happy, if they get a bread everyday like we do.
Considering all the arguments you have to come to the conclusion that the globalization affects people all over the world and there is no escape from it. “Why try holding back the wave?” clarifies the point, because you can’t run away, the wave will find you anyway.

ein paar Gedanken, aber noch keine Korrektur, denn vielleicht möchtest Du ja das Eine oder Andere noch verändern.
Ich habe mir den Text angeschaut und verstehe ihn zum Teil etwas anders. Was Du geschrieben hast, ist sicher inhaltlich nicht falsch, aber mir scheint doch noch eine andere Aussage wichtig, die Du nicht berücksichtigt hast:
Die Zeilen sind wichtig:
"I want no connection, just information,
and I'm gone."
Es werden in den Zeilen davor zwei wichtige Probleme erwähnt, aber weit weg in Afrika, man ist hierzulande zwar durchaus daran interessiert, davon zu erfahren ("information"), aber möchte sich bitte bloß nicht näher damit auseinander setzen müssen ("no connection"). Als Grund dafür wird das Gefühl der Hilflosigkeit angeführt, das einen davon abschreckt, auch nur zu versuchen, etwas zu unternehmen ("I feel so helpless so I turn my face to another place")
Aber die Welle der Veränderung wird sich nicht aufhalten lassen, das "global mind" will die Wahrheit ("reaches out for the truth"), auch wenn die Veränderungen der Welt gefährlich sein könnten ("You'll only drown in the changes"), also müssen wir hier lernen loszulassen ("You've got to learn to let go") (unseren Wohlstand?, unsere wirtschaftliche Vormachtstellung?) und eine Balance (= Gerechtigkeit) mit den anderen Ländern dieser Erde zuzulassen ("If balance is the key maybe we'll see a future understanding"), deren Armut z.T. unseren Reichtum ermöglicht.
Für diese Entwicklung benötigen wir hier in unserer Welt möglichst viele Informationen vom anderen Teil der Welt ("My global mind zeros in on news") und denen dürfen wir uns nicht verschließen, müssen sie aktiv suchen ("It's searching everywhere") und für alles offen sein - auch Veränderungen und die Abschaffung jeglicher Art von Grenzen ("Across every man made line. No boundary gonna keep it from you").
So, mal auf die Schnelle meine Gedanken dazu. Mann, habe ich lange nichts mehr interpretiert...
