Bitte sag niemals "thrice", es sei denn, du spielst in einem Stück von Shakespeare. Es klingt etwas komisch.

Hi marvin92, I personally tend to say "I'll have two of your special offers, please" or when eating out- "I'll have two steak and chips, please and two beers" The word twice I would use when I'm not actually asking for material things, here are a few examples "She danced around the table twice" "I read the letter twice" "I thought this over more than twice".

Yes, well here he isn't referring to a money offer, he's referring to an "item" that's on offer, say for an example he read in the newspaper that this week rubber ducks are on special offer and he wants two of them, how would he ask for two? In German you would say as mentioned above "Ich möchte bitte 2 Mal dieses Angebot haben"

@Pennsylvanian: He cannot have meant money here because you'd use "das Doppelte" or "doppelt so viel" or "zwei Mal so viel".
