Dankesbrief wegen einer finanziellen Unterstützung

Beitrag von Cranberry »

Dear Mrs. -------,

my name is [My Name] and I'm one of the kids, who get a price because of your foundation.
Current I attend the ninth grade of the [Name meiner Schule]. After the vacations I will attend the eleventh grade.
Since I was in the first grade I was interested in Mathematics and science. Mathematic, chemistry, biology and physics are my favorite subjects today.
Finally I would like to thank you, that you decided to countenance young men and women, who are interest in science.
From the money of your foundation I bought a book about physics. It's about plasma physics and atom physics. The book is very interesting even if it's not easy to understand.

Hoping you will keep on countenancing people, who are interest in sciences,

[My Name]

Wenn euch noch was einfällt was man noch zusaätzlich schreiben kann auch gerne her damit ; )
Ich hoffe dass die Grammatik keine Apokalyptischen Ausmaße annimmt xD

Vielen Dank Schonmal

The book is very interesting even although if it's not too easy to understand.

@caro64

Du meintest "too" easy und nicht "to" easy, oder?
Gruss joy

Ooh, soviele liebe Menschen sind versammelt, :talk1:

darf ich noch etwas einwerfen?!

@caro, "became a prize"? Er wird doch wohl nicht zum Preis, sondern erhält einen, oder? Also doch eher "win" oder "get", hier natürlich im Past Tense.

@Keswick, kleiner Überseher: "Mathematics, chemistry, ...
+ "keep on encouraging people..."

Grüße
Duckduck

 SEE! Look what this became and become stuff is doing to me! You're right of course, I was probably getting muddled up with the German word "bekommen" or is this is a common mistake that many English people make, like saying "I don't want nothing" is it? Keswick? Well maybe not  "... who got a prize" would then be right....so sorry
