@caro, "became a prize"? Er wird doch wohl nicht zum Preis, sondern erhält einen, oder? Also doch eher "win" oder "get", hier natürlich im Past Tense.

SEE! Look what this became and become stuff is doing to me! You're right of course, I was probably getting muddled up with the German word "bekommen" or is this is a common mistake that many English people make, like saying "I don't want nothing" is it? Keswick? Well maybe not "... who got a prize" would then be right....so sorry
