Kann mir hier jemand bitte drüber schauen?

Hallo,

kann mir bitte jamand über diesen Text schauen? Ich muss ihn Vortragen und möchte dabei so wenig wie möglich Fehler machen.

The British Chancellor George Osborne increased the VAT rate from 17.5% to 20 % and he decited that the rate will increase from January.
This means that they get 13 billion a year of extra revenue by the end of the Parliament in 2015. The reason for the increase is that the UK lived beyond their means and whitout this increase more jobs would be in danger. Prime Minister David Cameron said that the VAT increase will hit every person in Birtain and that the percent of VAT in the goverment revenue is about 15 percent. Many people will loose their jobs whitin four years, which is pretty much. 1991 VAT raised from 15 to 17.5 % because of a big deficit and 2009 was a temporary reduction to 15 % to fight the recession. But the UK has one of the lowest VAT rate in Europe just Spain has a lower rate at 16 percent. Poor people are afraid but Osborne said that food, children`s clothing and books are exept from VAT which is a great help for poor people.

British Chancellor George Osborne has decided to increase the VAT rate from 17.5% to 20 % and he decited that the rate will increase from January. (Oder: ...which will come into force on January.)
This means that they
will get 13 billion a year of additional revenue by the end of the Parliament in 2015. The reason for this increase is that the UK lived beyond their means and that without government action more jobs would be in danger. Prime Minister David Cameron said that the VAT increase will hit every person in Britain and the government revenue will rise by approximately 15 per cent. Many people will lose their jobs within four years, which is pretty much. 1991 VAT rose from 15 to 17.5 % because of a big deficit and 2009 there was a temporary reduction to 15 % to fight the recession. But the UK has one of the lowest VAT rate in Europe just Spain has a lower rate at 16 per cent. Poor people are afraid of it but Osborne said that food, children`s clothing and books are exempt from VAT which is a great help for poor people.
