Hallo Leute,

ich habe heute eine mündliche Prüfung in Englisch und habe mir eine Kleinigkeit überlegt, was ich erzählen möchte - weiß aber, nicht es so richtig ist. Bitte dringend um eure Hilfe!!!

" After my presentation I have thing about the question “is the miss Germany vote old-fashion?”. I think it is old-fashion, but everybody wants it. The misses decide to go the vote – and I think they have a high self-confidence – so they came back to the next vote and don’t give up. Most of them are more pissed of the miss who won than be sad or depressed.
Also the organizers want it. They get a lot of money and the center manager use this vote to present the center fashion – it’s a promotion!
And the important thing the visitors want it – if a vote started all people in the center come and watch it. Also we have an example that everybody is interested in model votes – Germany’s next top model by Heidi Klum.

I can say, that the misses are normal girls and often they take a part in the vote to win the wonderful presents - but I don’t have the self-confidence to go to the vote and let judge my body and my optic – I think I have more than only a body."

After my presentation I have thought about the question “Is the Miss Germany Beauty Contest old-fashioned?”. I think it is, but still everybody wants it. The young women decide to take part in the contest – and I think they must have an enormous self-confidence – to come back again at the next contest instead of giving up. Most of them are more envious of the winner than sad or depressed about their losing.
The organizers of these contests are all for it, of course. They earn a lot of money and the center manager use the contest to present the center fashion – it’s a promotion! (Hier weiß ich nicht genau, von welchem center die Rede ist und was Du meinst)
And the most important factor: the visitors want it – if there is a beauty contest, all people in the center come and watch it. Another example that everybody is interested in model contests is the TV programme "Germany’s next top model" by Heidi Klum.

I can say that the participants in beauty contests are normal girls, who often take a part in the contest only to win the wonderful presents - but I don’t have the self-confidence to go there and let strange people judge my body and outer appearance – I think I consist of more than only a body. (Right you are!!)
