New for me was that I should match eye contact with all of my listeners because I have always thought that it would be enough to have eye contact with one or two people. I did not know that reading from my notes would affect the audience’s confidence in me. This was a surprise for me. I learned that we should slow down during the speech because this gives you the chance to add pauses for emphasis. I think that these tips are really helpful and they can really help you to make a good presentation. So I am going to apply them in future.

2. Distracting - To turn away from the original focus of attention or interest

3. Inexperienced speakers - Speakers have a lack of experience

4. Emphasis - Prominence given to a word, or words, as by raising the voice

5. Cues - Important words that help you to hold a presentation

Ich weiss, du sagtest du bist Schwabe, aber auch Schwaben kennen Gross- und Kleinschreibung . Achte bitte darauf.
