On the other hand you must have a high level of self-discipline to do the job well. Furthermore, it isolates you from the outside world and you can feel like a prisoner in your own home. But above all one must not forget that it is difficult to separate private life and work life, so it might be hard to switch off at the end of the day.

Another significant advantage for employer are the savings on office space and other overheads, therefore they can close some branch offices. On the other hand the company less the face-to-face interaction. Furthermore arise the additional costs for the new office equipment (at home) and technology. But above all one must not forget that with teleworking the employer has no supervision and don´t know how the employee works.
