Hallo :)

Wir schreiben bald eine Arbeit über argumentations. Deswegen habe ich diesen Text hier geschrieben, bin mir aber noch sehr unsicher, ob das auch alles richtig ist. Wäre nett, wenn ihr das korrigieren könntet! Danke :)

argumentation – should be pirated material forbidden?
In the following I shall consider the question - Should be pirated material forbidden?
First of all I want to start with the worse revenues from the film industry.
Through their bad revenue they make high losses, so they not even get their expected money and had overestimated the costs.
As a result they may go bust.
Another reason to forbid pirated material are become the decreasingly cinema attendance.
So not only the producer make less money but also the cinema industry.
Therefore the ticket prices as well as the “cinema food” will get more expensive.
Even so the “cinema feeling” gets lost, because much people watch the films at home on their smaller TV without the typical popcorn or nachos.
On the other hand it’s very useful, because it is costless to watch all the films at home and it is quicker and easier to reach what you want.
You may save time, because you don’t have to go to the shop and buy a film or go to the cinema.
If you want, you can stop the film and watch it further anytime.
Thus you have more films or music, never would you buy.
Consequently you may watch it one or two times and then it ends somewhere in a corner.
Further the films and music may be exchange with friends.

I think for the film and cinema industry it is very important to forbid pirated material,
but for the consumer the pirated material is very useful, because you may save a lot of money.

argumentation – should pirated material be forbidden?

In the following argumentation I am going to discuss the question:
Should pirated material be forbidden?

First of all I want to start with the loss of revenue for the film industry.
As a result of the reduced revenue some companies might be threatened with bankruptcy.
So the high costs of some movie projects in combination with overestimated expectations for the earned money can lead to high losses.
Another reason to forbid pirated material is the decreased amount of people going to the cinema. (Did you consider the current ticket prices? )
So not only the producer makes less money but also the cinema industry.
Therefore the ticket prices as well as the food sold in cinemas will become even more expensive.
(Did you ever consider the high licence fees for some new movies and the costs to build these "palasts" to increase the prices? )
So the “cinema feeling” can get lost, because many people watch the films at home on their smaller TV without the typical popcorn or nachos.
(Who said we don't buy such food at the supermarket to enjoy a cinema feeling while watching a DVD or Blue-Ray disc at home?
It depends on your usually chosen seat at the cinema and the distance to your screen at home how you perceive the screen size.
)
On the other hand it’s very cheap, because it is costless to watch all the films at home and it is quicker and easier to reach what you want.
(Who said it's free?
The internet provider, the computer hardware and the storage media which always includes a fee for copying content etc. all that need to be paid for by the consumer.
)
You might save time, because you don’t have to go to the shop and buy a film or go to the cinema and buy a ticket.
Thus you have more films or music than you would ever buy.
If you want, you can stop the film and continue watching it at any time.
Consequently you can watch it one or more times and then it ends up in a corner.
Furthermore, the films and music can be exchanged with friends.

I think, it is very important for the film and cinema industry to forbid pirated material,
but for the consumer the pirated material is very useful, because you can save a lot of money.
on the one hand + on the other hand

You might want to consider using no or less informal language (go bust, ...)
and do not exaggerate so much in regard to the content either.
