Dialog about environment

Hi, ich bin es mal wieder. Wir sollen einen Dialog, zum Thema environment, machen.
Habe mir das so vorgestellt, dass ich die Moderatorin bin und zwei Gäste habe, mit die ich den über Umweltprobleme rede und versuche Lösungsvorschläge zu finden. Wie könnte man sowas interessant und witzig gestalten?

Also mein Anfang lautet so: Welcome to our converation round. My guests and me dicuss the environment problems and we can change it.

Hi,
ich bin es mal wieder.
Wir sollen einen Dialog zum Thema environment vorbereiten.
Ich habe mir das so vorgestellt, dass ich die Moderatorin bin und zwei Gäste habe
mit denen ich über Umweltprobleme rede und wir danach versuchen Lösungsvorschläge zu finden.
Wie könnte man das interessant und witzig gestalten?

Also mein Anfang lautet so:

My guests and I are going to discuss some of the current environmental problems.
We will also talk about things everyone can change to make a positive impact on the environment.

Wie kann eine Diskussion mit einem so ernsten Thema wie den derzeitigen Umweltproblemen witzig sein?

Ok, ich habe mich falsch ausgedrückt. Es soll nicht langweilig rüberkommen, sorry.

V: So, let's start with the first question! One problem is the air pollution. What ist your opinion, R.?
R: My view of the matter is that the main causes of air pollution are transportation, eg. vehicles and these produce high levels of carbon monoxides.
V: OK, and what is your viewpoint of the problem, X.?
X: I also have the same opinion as R., because we can prevent a bigger distruction by using a public transportation. I personally think it is better when the people build car pools or take the bus.
How do you see the problem V.? Do you would build car pools or take public transportatopns?
V: Yes of course, but at first it is absulutely important to say that air pollution is a big problem in our world. A futher suggestion is that the people go by bycicle instead with the car, except they must drive a longer route.
Not only air pollution is a big trouble, but also global warming change our climate. What is your opinion about global warming, R.?

R: You are right V. The earth heats up and the temperature rises.
X: That's not all R. This process has a lot of negative effects. In the next years the climate increases and at the result is that many animals and plants will not cope with these temperature changes.
And what is about you V. What further impacts can have global warming?
V: If I cosider about the effects on global warming I come to another significant point. Global Warming is also causing about frequent fires in forests. A Lot of trees and plant are destroyed and animals die.

R: V, you are right. The earth's atmosphere will continue to warm up and in connection with that, the temperature will rise even more.
X: That's not all, R. This process has a lot of negative effects.
During the next years the air and water temperature will increase even further.
Unfortunately many animals and plants will not be able to cope with these changes in temperature.
V, what do you think are the further impacts we can expect from global warming?
V: If I consider all the effects of global warming I come to another significant point.
Global Warming is also causing frequent forest fires.
A lot of trees and plants are destroyed and many animals die.

In the next years the climate increases...
Das Klima kann nicht ansteigen!

Klima ist der durchschnittliche Zustand der unteren Lufthuelle.
Wetter ist der momentane Zustand der unteren Lufthuelle.
Beide Begriffe umfassen also wesentlich mehr kennzeichnende Daten als die Lufttemperatur.

Waldbraende werden durch die globale Erwaermung nicht ausgeloest.
Aber ihre Bekaempfung wird durch laengere regenlose Phasen erschwert,
da Wasserreserven haeufig schon aufgebraucht sind und somit insgesamt
wesentlich weniger Loeschmittel zur Verfuegung stehen.
