1. Sydney
Sydney is the capital of the State New South Wales. The city is the biggest and oldest city of Australian with a population of 3,64. In the town exists many museums, universities and galleries. Port Jackson is the biggest natural harbour of the World.
History
Sydney was the first white settlement and founded in 26. January 1788. This day is the “Australian Day”.
Sydney Opera House
The Opera House opens in the Year 1973. It’s a place, where Operas, Theatres or Musicals are shown. It is a emblem for the Architecture of Australia. The Architect of this building is Jörn Utzom.
Sydney Harbour Bridge
The Bridge was designed and built by Dorman Long and co Ltd and opened in 1932. It’s the world’s widest long-span bridge, because it measures 1150m. Second it is the tallest steel bridge measuring 134 meters from top to water. It carries rail, vehicular and pedestrian traffic between the “Sydney Central Business District” and the “North Shore”.
Stadium Australia
The Olympic Stadium was completed in March 1999 hot the 2000 Summer Olympics. The Stadium has since then hosted the 2003 Rugby World Cup Final, as well as the National Rugby League. It is the largest stadium ever built. The Stadium is originally built to hold 110.000 spectators. After the Summer Olympics the capacity reduced to 85.500.
Museum
In Sydney exists many museums. For example a museum of natural history, art museum, a museum of the history of the town, museum of Technology or a Jewish Museum.
Darling Harbour
It is a important attraction for tourists. It is a district with many hotels, bars, shops, a theatre, cinema and many more events. In this is the biggest Aquarium, too with 11000 kinds of fishes.
Sydney Tower
It the second tallest tower of Australian with 305 meters. The Architecture remind of the tower of Stuttgart.
Construction of the office building began in 1970, and tower construction began in 1975.
The Tower is ranked as one of the safest buildings in the world, the design has made the tower capable of withstanding earthquakes and extreme wind conditions.
2. Newcastle
The Town is the second biggest city, because there is a population of 290.000. 1804 the settlement was founded with the name “King’s Town.
Newcastle has a big freight harbour, because of the steel industry.
3. Wollongong
The Town is the third biggest city, because there is a population of 235.000. Heavy industry exists especially in this Town. You can find for example coal or the steel industry. For a tourist is the national park in north of the town great.

Also Ännchen, bitte schön. Du siehst, da sind eine Reihe Fehler drin, die Du "leicht" vermeiden kannst. Schau Dir die Regeln der Groß- und Kleinschreibung im Englischen nochmal an, den Unterschied zwischen Australia und Australian und wann die Engländer bei Zahlen den "." verwenden und wann das ",".Ännchen hat geschrieben:Cities and Sights in New South Wales
