Newsweek - THE END OF THE EURO

Beitrag von Alex2010 »

Hello, I try to improve my English skills. I read an article in the Newsweek and I try to give a concise account of the main points.

"The end of the Euro" is written by Niall Ferguson and it is published in the Newsweek. The article describes the current situation in Europe especially Greek´s insolvent. As the article begins, Niall Ferguson focuses on all the advantages of Europe and their euro after it is launched in nineteen ninty-nine. Monetary Union would stabilize their currency and the European States could challenge the U.S. dollar.

Nevertheless Britain foresee a dangerous point: Europe left their financial policies completely uncoordinated. About eleven years after Euro´s birth the states recognize this aspect.
Maybe it is too late for this experience because other countries in the euro zone could get insolvent, too.
Italy, Belgium or Spain are potential candidates for next bailouts.
Europe tries to rescue their curreny with a gigant "rescue parachute". Seven hundred fifty million euro should stabilize the euro. Time will show.

Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn jemand den Text korrigieren würde. :big_thumb:
Danke.
