- but remember the corrections of your tandem partner

Du kannst auch bei den lokalen Hochschulen (ASTA, Fachschaften, Sprachenzentrum ...) nach Kontakten mit englischen Muttersprachlern fragen.
Bedenke, das die ausländischen Studenten häufig auch nach Möglichkeiten suchen ihr Deutsch zu verbessern.

I'd say:
school leaving examinations = Abschlußprüfungen
final examination = Abschlußprüfung
A-levels ~ Abitur
high-school graduation ~ Abitur
graduation = Abschluß...
high-school leaving certificate => das Dokument
But I am sure we can find a better expression.
In regard to your sentence: I would use evening classes.
But maybe I got it wrong?
