A critical review of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar"

Aufgabe:
Write a critical review of a TV programme.

Kann da mal jemand drüberlesen. Ich weiß, dass das sehr viel ist, aber mehrere Augen sehen mehr als zwei...

I want to write a critical review about a well-known German programme called “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”.
Let me begin by stating that there are many points of view to consider here.
The first problem is that the jury has the task to say if a performance of a candidate will be good or bad. Normally, this should be no problem, but frequently the jury doesn’t take care about morals and are only interested in making more profit, because a hard and inhuman critic is very interested and funny for the viewers. For example candidates feel themselves belittled, lampooned and ridiculed.
What is more, the big psychological stress for the canditades. Because of the must to be good, the fear of ridicule and the often derogative critic of the jury could cause mental health problems for the candidates, like black-outs.
Another point to consider here is that the broadcasting time is in the most common time in the evening. This is why you can’t avoid that teenagers between 12 and 26 years watch this programme and could see how people are treated with disrespectful. One association want to control if the programme is against the child-welfare . You should know that the programme have never been controlled by the voluntary self- control of the television.
On the other hand, there are many positive aspects to say about this programme. First of all, it’s very important to point out that the decision of the candidates is made freely. The candidates who decide to take part in this show get a new chance for their lives: They have the possibility to gain new self-confidence and appreciation in the society. Furthermore, the programme gives such people a chance who are good singers and entertainers but who haven’t the money for a professional apprenticeship. A very important aspect to mention is that the programme offers entertainment for thousands or maybe millions of German viewers. In my opinion, the advertising sector will be very confident, too. They can reach many possible customers by making advertisement in the commercial break of this programme.
In short, the programme meets the target to entertain the viewers, and this is the main point for producing programmes! It is clear that programmes haven’t the target to get the people moving in the right direction.

Let me begin by stating that there are many points of view to take into consideration.
The first problem is that the jury has the task to judge the performance of a candidate as good or bad. Normally, this should be no problem, but the jury frequently doesn't mind morals and is only interested in making more profit, because a hard and inhuman criticism is very interesting and funny for the viewers. For example candidates feel themselves belittled, lampooned and ridiculed.
What is more important though is the big psychological stress for the candidates. The knowledge that they have to give a good performance, the fear of being ridiculed and the often derogative criticism of the jury could cause mental health problems for the candidates, like black-outs. (ein Black-Out ist kein mentales Gesundheitsproblem!)
Another point to consider here is that the broadcasting time is in the most popular time of the evening. This is why you can’t avoid that teenagers between 12 and 26 years (bitte formuliere das um, z.B. zu people, denn ab 20 ist man kein Teenager mehr) watch this programme and can see how people are treated with disrespectfully. One association wants to check if the programme is against the child-welfare . You should know that the programme has never been controlled by the Voluntary Self Regulation of the television.
Despite all this, there are many positive aspects to say about this programme. First of all, it’s very important to point out that the decision of the candidates is made freely. The candidates who decide to take part in this show get a new chance in their lives: They have the possibility to gain new self-confidence and appreciation in the society. Furthermore, the programme gives such people a chance who are good singers and entertainers but who haven’t got the money for a professional apprenticeship. A very important aspect to mention is that the programme offers entertainment for thousands or even millions of German viewers. In my opinion, the advertising sector will be very confident (falsches Wort), too. They can reach many possible customers by making advertisement in the commercial breaks of this programme.
In short, the programme meets the target to entertain the viewers, and this is the main point for making programmes! It is clear that programmes don't aim at getting people to move in the right direction.
Zwei Sachen:

1) On the other hand schreibt man nur, wenn man im vorherigen Text "on the one hand" verwendet hat (einerseits.. andererseits).

I want to write a critical review about a well-known German programme called “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”.
Let me begin by stating that there are many points of view to mention.
The first problem is that the jury has the task to say if a performance of a candidate is good or bad. Normally, this should be no problem, but the jury often ignores ethical principles and are only interested in making more profit, because hard and inhuman critique is particularly popular for ( kommt hier for?) the viewers. For example candidates feel belittled, lampooned and ridiculed.
A further problem to note is that the there is a big psychological stress for the participants. They know that they have only a chance to win if they will be good in their next performance. That’s why the participants of the programme have a lot of fear to fail in the next show and to hear the often derogative critique of the jury there. To sum up, all this could cause mental health problems and black-outs.
Another point to consider here is that “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” is broadcasted at one of the best broadcasting times of the whole day. This is why you can’t avoid that teenager and young persons between 12 and 26 years watch this programme and can see how people are treated without many respect. A task of one association is to control if the programme is against child-welfare. You should know that the programme has (programme = it? oder muss da "have" hin?) never been controlled by a voluntary organization (geht voluntary organization?) before.
However, there are many positive aspects about this programme. First of all, it’s very important to point out that the decision of the candidates is made freely. The candidates who decide to take part in this show get a new chance in their lives: They have the possibility to gain new self-confidence and appreciation in society. Furthermore, the programme gives such people a chance who are good singers and entertainers but who haven’t got the money for a professional apprenticeship. A very important aspect to mention is that the programme offers entertainment for thousands or maybe millions of German viewers. In my opinion, the advertising sector will be very satisfied ,too. They can reach many possible customers by making advertisement in the commercial breaks(=ist das nicht das Wort für Werbepause?) of this programme.
In short, the programme meets the target to entertain the viewers, and this is the main point for producing programmes! It is clear that programmes don't aim at getting people to move in the right direction.

Der letze Satz soll aussagen, dass es nicht das Ziel einer Fernsehsendung sein kann, die Menschen in die richtige Lebensrichtung zu führen.

A task of one association is to control if the programme is against child-welfare. You should know that the programme has (programme = it? oder muss da "have" hin? (programme = it, also has)) never been controlled by the the Voluntary Self Regulation(diese Organisation heisst so, deswegen habe ich sie dir auch so verbessert)before.
However, there are many positive aspects about this programme. First of all, it’s very important to point out that the decision of the candidates is made freely. (doch, aber in deinem Originaltext steht break im Singular)) of this programme.
In short, the programme meets the target to entertain the viewers, and this is the main point for producing programmes! It is clear that these programmes don't aim at leading people into the right direction in their lives.
