Ich muss einen Text schreiben wie ich Massenmedien empfinde. Danke im Voraus für das Korrigieren.

Personally, I don't spend a lot of time on mass media. That's because I spend my time with friends and another point is that I see the mass media critically. I only use the internet, because I have a lot of choices what I can read or watch something and nobody can't decide what I have to do. I think, when one uses the internet right, one won't get dumber or manipulate than the other mass media, for example Tv, radio, newspaper, magazines and advertising. Moreover the mass media don't entertain anymore than in the last few years. In my opinion they are a lot of rubbish on Tv, for example "DsdS", "Germany's next top model" ect... Another important point is for me that the mass media have incredibly a lot of control. The mass media decide which topic we should talk about. The best example is abroad war which everybody talk about it and if the mass media care less and less about it, the topic will dissapear and nobody talk about it, but the war still goes on.

I think, when you use the internet correctly you won't be dumbed down or manipulated
as often as by using the other mass media, for example TV, radio, newspaper, magazines and advertising.
Moreover, the mass media are not as entertaining as they used to be a few years ago.
In my opinion there is a lot of rubbish on TV, for example "DsdS", "Germany's next top model" ect...
Another important aspect for me is that the mass media have an incredible amount of control.
The mass media decide which topic they cover and from which angle.
So we often get only a selected amount of information to talk about.
The best example is a war abroad which everybody talks about in the beginning.
When the mass media care less and less about a topic it will soon disappear and then nobody talks about it anymore.
Although the war still continues.

At the beginning the media cover the topic day and night and everybody talks about it. Then the media lose interest and the war will soon be more or less forgotten and nobody will talk about it anymore.
