are these sentences correct, have u got any advices for me in context of this sentence.

Whatever is happening in the future, people should care about global warming because
scientists are not sure whether if the pronounced changes are becoming real or if they will not. Some of the changes should better be realized so that the development of alternative energy sources can go on as far as possible.
