The first communion
In many countrys of europe is the day of the first communion very important for the children. On this day in may, children who are from the same neighbourhood and visit the same school, go together with their family, the relatives, the teachers and their class mates to the next church, where the ceremony is held.
The day starts always very early, because the parents have to dress-up their children and themselve. The boys wear traditionally a white shirt, a trouser and a jacket. Girls wear always a dress.
When they are ready, the children go with their family and relatives to the school. Where they meet their class mates and teachers. Then they leave the school and walk together to the church. To celebrate this ceremonial occasion and to receive their first communion.
