Problem with -ing

hello,

I have a problem. I wrote this sentence: "I don't hearing something with my ear" but I think that it isn't right.

I think that hearing should be replaced by hear. Ist that correct? And why?

I'm not sure what you are trying to express. Please provide more next time...
Here are a few examples:

Ich bin taub. Ich höre nichts mit meinen Ohren.
I'm deaf. I don't hear anything with my ears.

Ich bin eingeschränkt hörfähig. Ich kann mit meinem rechten Ohr nichts hören.
I'm partially deaf. I cannot hear anything with my right ear.

I habe (mit meinem linken Ohr) etwas gehört.
I heard something (with my left ear).

Ich habe nichts gehört.
I didn't hear anything.

Ich höre nichts (mit ...) [im Moment/jetzt].
I'm not hearing anything (with my ...) [now].

...

ich möchte schnell die relativ einfache grammatische Erklärung den Beispielsätzen von Delfino hinzufügen:

Nach Hilfsverben steht in der Regel der Infinitiv (die Grundform) des Verbs. Eine Ausnahme bildet z.B. die Progressive Form (Verlaufsform), in der die Form von "be" vom Partizip Präsens (ing-Form) gefolgt wird.

I can swim.
We will sleep.
He doesn't work.
They must give in.
I don't hear.
usw.

ABER:

I am working.
We were sleeping.
They are not listening.
