On the one hand I approve the measure how General Motors Company (GM) operates because they are financially independent and create jobs which solve social problems on the other hand I also think it is very risky.
If certainly sales target fall, the capital also plummet and that can provide a function of banks, fanciers and government or even lead to insolvency because 90% of the capital for the next year must be secured only by annual sales for the current year.
Just small percentages of sales fluctuation of the order of a company like GM could have huge financial effects and lead to layoffs which could cause social problems.
See that GM provides a mass market – markets and profits can increase. If social problems have solved and poverty have avoid they are anxious to concur with the interests of the economic power with whom of the mass.
In the past GM had to take out a loan from the state to avoid mass unemployment and to maintain purchasing powers.
Because by closing individual holdings of GM produced a loss of profitability for the suppliers of GM, which had still more economic problems (eg, closure small firms of GM). There is formed a correlation between GM and society and both have the possibility to profit by each other and for this reason I approve how GM operates and at the same time it is risky

Ich finde gut aber auch riskant wie die General Motors-Gesellschaft (GM) wirtschaftet, weil sie finanziell unabhängig ist und Arbeitsplätze schafft, die Sozialprobleme lösen. Allerdings sinkt auch bei Absatzfall das Kapital und kann zur Abhängigkeit von Banken, Finanziere, Staat usw. oder zur Insolvenz führen, da bis zu 90% des Kapitals des nächsten Jahres nur durch jährliche Verkäufe des aktuellen Jahres gesichert werden müssen, um stetige Verbesserungen und neue Projekte zu schaffen. Deswegen können kleine prozentuale Absatzschwächen bei solcher Firmengröße enorme finanzielle Auswirkungen haben und zu Kündigungen führen, die Sozialprobleme verursachen.
Da GM einen Massenmarkt bedient und Märkte und Gewinne steigen können, wenn Sozialprobleme gelöst und Armut vermieden werden, ist man darauf bedacht, dass die Interessen der ökonomischen Macht mit denen der Masse übereinstimmt. In der Vergangenheit musste GM einen Kredit vom Staat aufzunehmen, um Massenarbeitslosigkeit zu vermeiden und Kaufkräfte zu erhalten. Denn durch Schließung einzelner Betriebe vom GM entsteht auch ein Rentabilitätsverlust für die Zulieferer von GM, welche noch mehr wirtschaftliche Probleme (z.B. Schließung kleinerer Firmen) verursacht hätten. Es entsteht eine gegenseitige Abhängigkeit von der beide Seiten (GM und Gesellschaft) profitieren können und aus diesem Grund finde ich gut aber riskant wie GM wirtschaftet.

because the management has a responsibility towards the shareholders (of the company).
But on the other hand it is also very risky to use so much outside capital that the existence
of the company depends on the achievement of continuously high sales targets.
Everyone knows that the demand for many high value products falls during an economic downturn
(a recession) which is expected to follow even a prolonged boom in the never ending business cycle.
Therefore it can not be a good way of doing business if 90% of the investments in the coming year
depend on the sales this year. This creates a dangerous situation when even small fluctuations
of the annual sales put the whole company at risk. At a subsequent stage the management
which is in a constant struggles to increase profits usually decides to lay off thousands of people
and thereby causing many family crises. The close linked local suppliers have to face a harsh change too.
The result is a drastically reduced purchasing power of all these people
which creates a downwards spiral for the whole region and not only a particular part of the economy.
Although it might not be obvious in the beginning but there are consequences to mismanagement
in huge companies that go far beyond...
