Guten Abend,

ich habe hier eine kleine Gerundiumaufgabe, indem man auch, wenn möglich, Präpositionen einsetzen muss. Kann mir jemand da behilflich sein, ob meine Lösungen richtig sind? Die unterstrichenen Wörter sind meine Lösungen. Ich danke schon mal im voraus.

Die Aufgabe lautet:

Gerunds. Add prepositions where appropriate.

1. Biometric systems rely on identifying (identify) unique human traits.
2. There's no foolproof way making (make) password-ptotected systems completely safe in intruding (intrude).
3. The solution could lie on applying (apply) biometric identification to the PC.
4. The crucial step building (build) an effective system is enrolment.

6. Problems can occur because of inconsistent ways on interfacing (interface) with the system.

Deshalb habe ich ein paar bessere Varianten angegeben.

Identification is the process by which the identity of a user is established (usually the input of a user name),
and authentication is the process by which a service confirms the claim of a user to use a specific identity
by the use of credentials (usually a password, a certificate or biometric characteristics).
