Hallo zusammen!
Oliver’s mother died shortly after his birth. So Oliver grew up in a poorhouse. - Leseprobe, wie Oliver is Heim kam und den Master um mehr essen gefragt hat. Darauf verkauft der Master Oliver an Mr Sowerberry - At the next day the master took Oliver to Mr Sowerberry, but Oliver ran away.
He ran to London, in London he met Jack Dawkins. Jack took Oliver to Fagin and Bill Sikes.
Fagin was a old man who taught young boys to steal and Bill Sikes was a brutal man who had no home and stayed sometimes with Fagin.
One day Oliver went out with the other boys and saw how the boys stole Mr Brownlow’s handkerchief and ran away but Oliver ran to slow, so the constable saw only Oliver and arrested him.
Oliver refused to admit his guilt, thus the constable couldn’t prove Oliver guilty. And Mr Brownlow trusted Oliver. So the constable released Oliver and Mr Brownlow took Oliver into his house.
From then on Fagin feared that Oliver could tell on him, because of that he caught Oliver. Fagin forced Oliver to break into a house with Bill Sikes. But the owner of the house saw Oliver and shot at him, Bill Sikes ran away and Oliver laid on the ground.
At the next morning, Oliver still laid on the ground covered in blood. Mr Giles, the owner of the house, felt pity for Oliver and took him into his house. Oliver was happy with his new situation but then he saw Fagin outside the window and he was afraid again.
A few days later, Nancy a maidservant of Fagin overheard a conversation of Fagin and Bill Sikes. They made a plan! - They wanted to catch Oliver again. Nancy tried to contact Rose Maylie who was a good friend of Oliver. Nancy tried to warn Rose of Fagin. Unfortunately Bill Sikes noticed that Nancy told somebody his plan and killed her.
Now Bill was a murdere and he tried to escape. He climbed a house which was next to the river. He tied one end of a rope tightly around the chimney then he tied the other end around himself. While he was doing that he lost balance! He fell back and dropped off the roof. The rope suddenly moved and was wrapped around his neck.
He fell thirty feet, and then there was a sudden stop. His body hung against the wall. - He was dead.
After Bill Sikes’ death the police arrested Fagin and hung him. And Oliver moved back to Mr Brownlow . . .
You would do me a big favor, if someone checked the text for mistakes! (ist der If - Satz grammatikalisch richtig?)
Viele Grüße!
David

Deine Korrektur ist aber mit Gewähr, oder Duckduck?
Tja, ...
