A tale of two cities
In the following text you can see the contrast of two American cities.
There is on the one hand Atlanta in the south of USA and on the other hand Detroit in the north.
Both cities have mainly white suburbs. Another comment point is that both metropolises demonstrate how race relicts are a important factor in the American politics.
However compared to Detroit Atlanta is a little bit underdeveloped. The economic book, who where in Detroit in twenties and thirties, arrive to Atlanta much later. Though in the fifties and sixties Detroit were ruined by the car factory and the people became continuous more and more black and poor.
In contrast to Detroit the blacks and whites go together through the city and eat in nice restaurants as well as they go shopping in a bright mood.
Meanwhile you can find a good economic in Atlanta, too. For example is there the busiest airport in the world and CNN – one of the most important international television news channel – have their headquarters there. Furthermore they got a relevant railway junction in 1840s.
In this time Atlanta got an important status in economic, but in Detroit got the criminal a fundamental problem. Simply because 43 people were killed in five days at a revolt in 1967 and the crime rate increased.
Concluding you can say Atlanta and Detroit are very different in economic as soon as social life.

Both cities have mainly white suburbs. Another common point is that both metropolises demonstrate
how race relics are an important factor in American politics.
However, compared to Detroit Atlanta is a little bit underdeveloped.
The economic boom, which took place in Detroit during the twenties and thirties of the last century,
reached Atlanta much later. Although in the fifties and sixties Detroit was ruined by the car factory
and the amount of black and poor people rose continuously.
In contrast to Detroit black and white people go together through the city of Atlanta
and eat in nice restaurants as well as they go shopping in a bright mood.
Meanwhile, you can find a good economic situation in Atlanta, too. For example, there is the busiest
airport in the world and CNN, one of the most important international television news channels,
have their headquarters there. Furthermore, they got a relevant railway junction in 1840s.
At that time Atlanta's economic importance grew to a significant level, while in Detroit the criminals
became a fundamental problem. This problem of an increasing crime rate continued and 43 people
were simply killed during five days of a revolt in 1967.
Concluding you can say Atlanta and Detroit are very different in economic terms and in some aspects of the social life.
