Hallo alle zusammen! Ich habe in Englisch die Aufgabe bekommen, eine Filmkritik zu schreiben. Klar, ich könnte ja ganz einfach eine vom Internet kopieren. Aber das war ja nicht die Aufgabe! Und da wir auf unsere Aufgabe eine Note bekommen, ist mir eine Korrektur sehr wichtig...wäre sehr lieb von euch wenn ihr mir etwas helfen könntet!
In this sensational fantasy-adventure AVATAR, James Cameron, the Oscar prize winner, takes us in a new world beyond all measure our imagination.
The movie is about the planet Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na'vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Because of the atmosphere, which is poisonous for humans, scientists have created genetic engineering hybrid creatures which haven´t problems with the air of the planet Pandora. Jake Sully, a paraplegic war veteran, is brought to this planet because he has to make friends with the Na´vi.
On the plus side I think the movie is visual really bombastic. The computer-generated images are first rate and the 150 minutes of the movie goes quickly.
On the other hand, I think the plot is very simple, maybe too simple. Although some scenes are pretty exciting you know the end of the movie immediately.
All in all, the movie is recommendable and I think Avatar is that movie for the new generation.
