The weekend trip of our college is almost here and last week I asked as many students as possible what kind of trip they would like to have. The following suggestions should express the student’s preferences.
Of course everybody has another point of view, but to many students it is important to have on the one hand silence to relax on the other hand excitement in the evening. So the location should offer a wide range of leisure activities on the day and the night. As an example you can see a cinema, a theatre or a bar. Furthermore the students would like to do exercise after a stressful day, so sport facilities like a swimming pool or a tennis court should be available. Besides that also the meals should be joinable and offer a wide range of variety. In addition, especially the female students would like to have an opportunity to buy presents for their family and friends during this trip. So include a lot of free time for the students.
Not only the leisure time is important, also a suitable accommodation is necessary. There are two opportunities. The first one is called ‘’Briar Park Hotel’’ and it is outside Leightonbury, but there are free buses to and from the city centre. Furthermore this hotel offers a lot of sports facilities like a swimming and an international food is guaranteed. The second choice is ‘’Lakeside Activity Centre’’ which is the perfect place for walking or sailing in the nature. It is like a lodge and therefore it is surrounded by a lot of woodland. The most important fact is that the students would have to care for their food on their own.
The best choice would be the ‘’Briar Park Hotel’’, because it offers the opportunity to go in the city in the night and to do a lot of sports exercises. It is perfect for all the wishes of the students, no matter if somebody would like to have silence or action.
