Wäre net wenn jemand meinen Text korrigieren könnte- brauche Hilfe!

The text "How to Líve Longer" written by Johnjoe McFadden, professor of molecular genetics, deals with human gene material and the often discussed question about genetic engeneering.
First the author mentions that our genes are not prepared for a long life.
The reason therefore is that human died very early in former times, killed by predators and diseases.
Therefore genes have to transformed into longterm genes by genetic engeneering to overcome the problems of shorttime genes like cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy and the ageing process.
Furthermore he sais that you have to seperate eugenics and genetic engeneering, because they are two different things.
Eugenics want to restrict fertility of handicapped people to create a "superrace".
Gene therapy, in contrast, wants to cure chromosoms like the apperent body, because DNA is as natural as everything else too. Finally he sais that humans have to overcome there fears of genetic engeneering for a longer life in a more healthful way.

(Diesen Satz verstehe ich nicht, nehme aber an, dass das too am Ende jedenfalls weg muss...).
