My first statistic is a ranking task.
The people should decide what is most exciting, exciting, boring and what is most boring.
The criterions were watch TV, meet friends, do homework and reading books.
We question 22 Girls and 17 Boys.
First the girls:
For the Girls is meet friends most exciting, reading books is exciting watch TV is boring and do homework is most boring.
Second the Boys: It’s a bit different.
Most exciting is meeting friends, too. And most boring is do homework.
The difference is reading books and watch TV.
For the boys is watch TV exciting and reading books boring.

My second statistic is a “how long Question” and a “fill in statement”.

The “how long Question” is how long are you looking at television per day?.
The average of the boys is higher than the average of the girls.
The average of the boys are 3,06 h and of the girls 2,69 h.

The fill in statement are the three favourite movies of girls and boys.
The Girls like the movies Dirty dancing, KeinOhrHase and Twilight very well.
The Boys like the movies Alarm für Copra 11, the simpsons and Final Destination.

3. boring and
4. most boring.
The criteria to rank were
1. watch TV,
2. meet friends,
3. do homework and
4. reading books.
We questioned 22 girls and 17 boys.
First, here are the results for the girls:
For them meeting friends is most exciting, followed by reading books. In the third place we have watching TV ranked as boring, and finally doing homework is considered most boring.
Now here are the results for the boys: they are a bit different.
For them, meeting friends is most exciting, too. And most boring is doing homework.
The difference between boys and girls concerns reading books and watching TV.
For the boys watching TV is exciting whereas reading books is boring.

My second statistic is a “How long Question” and a “Fill in Statement”.

The “How long Question” is: for how long are you watching TV per day?.
The average time spent in front of the TV is higher for the boys than for the girls. The boys watch an average of 3,06 hours per day, whereas the girls watch 2,69 hours.


The "Fill in Statement" asked about the three favourite movies.
The girls like the movies "Dirty Dancing", "KeinOhrHase" and "Twilight" best.
The boys prefer the movies "Alarm für Cobra 11", the "Simpsons" and "Final Destination".
