Target costumers
Ikea has defined his target group clearly. Target groups are especially young couples, families with young children, students and single persons
Especially families with young children are focused.
Examples for this you can find in the stores - there are baby changing rooms, restrooms for children or rinks.
Mostly the costumers are between 25 and 44 years old.
They have a middle income and 70% of them are of the costumers are female.

Target customers (Niedlich!)
Ikea has clearly defined target groups. These are especially young couples, families with young children, students and single persons.
Among these, a special focus is put on families with young children.
You can find indications for this in the stores - there are baby changing rooms, restrooms for children and playing facilities where the children are looked after while the parents go shopping.
Most of the customers are between 25 and 44 years old.
They have a middle income and 70% of them are female.
The target group sets great value on prices, aesthetics, design, quality and functionality.
It’s not necessary for the customers to identify with the company.
Altough IKEA aims at a middle income target group it’s common that nationally or internationally famous persons like Barrack Obama, Kylie Minogue or Kurt Biedenkopf buy things at IKEA.
