Let’s start with spring.
Spring lasts from March to Mai (meteorological).
In this period it is getting warmer snow is melting and a lot of plants begin to grow after winter.
In summer (June to August; meteorological) mostly we have nice, warm and sunny weather with now and than some thunderstorms.
In autumn (September to November; meteorological) it’s getting colder, there is more rain and leaves are falling down the trees.
In winter (December to February; meteorological) we have a lot of snow and low temperatures.

In summer (June to August; meteorologically speaking) we have nice, warm and sunny weather most of the time, with some thunderstorms now and then. (oder: ...with the occasional thunderstorm)
In autumn (September to November; meteorologically speaking) it gets colder, there is more rain and the leaves fall from the trees.
In winter (December to February; meteorologically speaking) we have a lot of snow and low temperatures.
