Korrektur von einem Absatz ?

Hallo.
ich brauche Hilfe bei diesem Absatz :

Although you are just 17 years old, you show responsibility for your family and maybe it is not easy, but try to understand a little bit of the feelings of your dad. I know you cannot imagine yet how it is to lose a job, but for your father it was more than just his everyday work. He was always the person who earned the money and he was the one who allowed a normal family life with a lot of activities and presents. When he lost his job, he also lost his self-confidence and to him alcohol is the only way out of this sort of depression.

Das Wörtchen "of" bei "of the feelings" weglassen!

da war ja nun eigentlich gar nichts falsch, prima Text, nur ein paar kleine Vorschläge und ein Tipp: englische Sätze nicht zuuuu lang, sie mögen es nicht so gerne kompliziert wie wir im Deutschen...

vielen dank erst mal. Ja ich weiß, ich schreibe leider zu lange sätze. ich hätte nich ne frage. kann man dass schrieben :

First of all I have to say that I hold you my high esteem that you wrote to me a letter. I am quite sure that it was not easy for you to describe your situation and therefore I will reply in a caring and respectful way.

weil bei dem high esteem bin ich mir nicht sicher :/

vielen Dank erst mal. Ja, ich weiß, ich schreibe leider zu lange Sätze. ich hätte noch eine Frage. Kann man dass (diesen Satz) so schreiben :

First of all, I would like to say that I hold you in high esteem (Das ist hoch formell, wie wäre es mit: respect you very much) for writing a letter to me. I am quite sure that it was not easy for you to describe your situation. And because of this I will try to reply most respectfully.

Ich bin mir bei dem "high esteem" nicht sicher.

So, ich hoffe, ich konnte helfen. Bitte beachte, dass wir in diesem Forum höchsten Wert auf eine korrekte Rechtschreibung legen. Also achte bitte auf Groß- und Kleinschreibung usw.

Mir gefällt der Vorschlag von Duckduck mit "respect you very much" ziemlich gut. Ich kenne es als Verb, "to hold sb. in high esteem", habe das auch schon oft gehört/gelesen- aber noch nie als direkte "Äußerung" zu einer Person.
