Delaney and Jack met in a supermarket and speak about the immigrants. Jack told Delaney that in the last year the U.S. accepted more immigrants than all the other countries in the world. All this immigrants settled down in Carlifornia. Jack is against the immigrants. According to him are the immigrants people which killing the native Americans. But this factual are old news for him. Delaney is shoked about this attitude compared to the immigrants. She can not believe that Jacks thoughts are so vicious. Delaney is not against the immigrants. Her opinion is that the immigrants are the lifeblood of the country. The U.S. is a nation of immigrants and without them, they would not be standing where they are. Her argues that even her grandmother, which is Irish, and her grandfather, which came from Bremen, are immigrants. Jack is not convinced about this statement. In his opinion the immigrants cost lots of money for the native. He refers about a San Diego Study which implies that the illegals contributed seventy million in tax revenue and on the other hand they used up two hundred and forty million in service. Delaney disagrees. She finds that everyone deserves a chance. The Mexicans would assimilate just like the other countries.
All in all Jack is against the immigrants and he is thinking that they cost a lot of money. Delaney is not against the immigrants. Her opinion is that the immigrants are very important for the nation.
I am not against the immigrants. There are very refined, nice and sincere immigrants but on the other side there are antisocial and rebellious. But we have to think that every native country has nice and antisocial immigrants. I have nothing againgst the immigants, but I think the immigrants should assimilate a little bit at the nation. If I go to England I do not speak German I try to speak English. Because of that I think in Germany are lots of immigrants which do not assimilate to the german culture.
