I would pass my dream holidays with 1'000 francs in the Spanish city Lloret de Mar, with a group of other young people. First I would choose a hotel which is near the beach and which isn’t too expensive for a young guy. I found a quite good hotel called “Copacabana”. It costs 300.- francs for six nights and it’s a three stars hotel. The flight to the airport together with the return flight would be about 320.- francs.
I would get up every day very late, so that I’m well-rested and could start the day calmly. I think I would relax every day on the beach. Just lying there in the sun and do nothing. And if it was to hot, I would go into the blue sea to cool me.
But I think only lying on the beach is a little bit boring. Lloret de Mar is famous for a lot of teenagers, which spend their summer holidays there. I guess, it wouldn’t be hard to find a group, which plays beachsoccer, beachvolleyball or something like this.
It’s also offered a lot of leisure activities and small travels inside of the surrounding area by native people. Definitely I would go to Barcelona, the never sleeping city of Spain. I guess I would go to view a soccer match in the “Camp Nou”, the biggest stadion of Europe. But with 60.- francs per ticket it’s quite expensive. And maybe if I had desire and enough money, I would bring myself to visit the picasso museum, one of the most famous museums of the world.
On another day I would sail with a catamaran along the “Costa Brava” for about 40.- francs. The end of the line is on a little bay, where you do snorkelling and watersliding.
It’s also offered a lot of other activities like bungee jumping, skyriding and safari, but I have to distribute my money wisely.
And of course I would allow me every day the food specialities of Lloret de Mar. For example “conill amb cargols”. I guess the most of you don’t know what this is. I promise you would like it. It’s rabbit with snails. Or another speciality is called “pollaste amb llagosta”. That’s chicken with crawfish.
But why I would exactly go to Lloret de Mar? The reason is easy. It’s the biggest party city around there. Teenagers from all over the world meet theirself there and do the biggest summerparties from Europe.
