Working with Cartoons

Ja hier mal etwas, was ich wirklich noch nie in Englisch machen musste und das auch schon zum Montag.

Als erstes, wie übersetze ich den Satz: Today I'd like to teach everyone the difficult task of how to put a new roll on it's holder.

Heute belehre ich jeden mit der schwierigen Aufgabe, wie er eine neue Toilettenrolle auf seinen Halter macht.

Bevor ich interpretiere und den Cartoon deute, habe ich ihn erstmal beschrieben.

It's my task to describe a cartoon. At first I have choose the last cartoon by Adey Bryant. You can find the cartoon on the website www. cartoonstock.com.
The pictures shows a woman with two boys and a girl. These are the central characters of on this cartoon. The woman hold on a toilet roll and the three kids lokk at very anxious. The persons are at home. It's seems to me that is a family, a mother with her kids.

My task is to describe a cartoon. At first I have chosen Adey Bryant's the latest cartoon by. You can find it on the website www. cartoonstock.com.
The pictures shows a woman with two boys and a girl. These are the central characters of on this cartoon. The woman holds on a toilet roll in her hand and the three kids look at her very anxiously. The persons are at home, probably in a corridor. You can see the bathroom door in the background. It's seems to me that is a family, a mother with her kids.

In order to visualize the conflict between a mother and her children. Furthermore you can assume that the situation plays in the evening, because the children have wear a pyjama. The caption "Today I'd like to teach everyone the difficult task of how to put a new toilet roll on it's holder." emphasize the message of the picture. The mother of the children they just want to say that make a new toilet roll on the holder.

Das gefällt mir irgendwie noch nicht. Was sagst du?

(Hier fehlt irgendwie der Anschluss, oder willst Du sagen, "der Cartoon will verdeutlichen...?", dann:) The aim of the cartoon is to visualize the conflict between a mother and her children. Furthermore we can assume that the situation takes place in the evening, because the children have wear a pyjamas. The caption "Today I'd like to teach everyone the difficult task of how to put a new toilet roll on it's holder." emphasizes the message of the picture. The mother of the children they just wants to say tell them to put a new toilet roll on the holder.

Vielleicht kannst Du noch erwähnen, dass der Cartoon deshalb witzig ist, weil Ironie im Spiel ist. Weil die Mutter so tut, als ob es wahnsinnig schwierig wäre, die Rolle aufzufädeln, obwohl in Wirklichkeit ihre Gören einfach nur zu faul sind...

The cartoon makes the reader laugh therefore, because the cartoonist used irony. Because the mother pretending as it is very difficult to put a new toilet roll on the holder.

Das because ist doppelt. Gibt es noch ein anderes Wort dafür?

The reason the cartoon makes the reader laugh therefore, is that the cartoonist uses irony. The mother acts as if it was very difficult to put a new toilet roll on the holder when really her kids are just too lazy to fulfill little household cores. (oder: do it)

Das because ist doppelt. Gibt es noch ein anderes Wort dafür?

OOPS, da sind mir denn doch gleich beide "because"s abhanden gekommen. Ist es so OK?
