Hello !

Well as many non-native-speakers I have some trouble with my style. My English teacher explained that I need to improve it by using participles. The major problem is, that I am always unsure, if I am using them properly or not. He never corrects grammar mistakes, if we talk to him. But of course he corrects our mistakes in the exams. To put it into a nutshell: There is no one who could correct me, if I make a mistake.

man wundert sich manchmal über Lehrer, oder?
Aber um Dir helfen zu können, müssten wir Beispiele haben, an denen wir Dir eventuelle Fehler aufzeigen könnten. Also schreibe doch mal was auf, damit wir es durchgucken können, OK?

I agree with Duckduck.. the style in your paragraph is fine. But maybe you could give us some examples of texts that your teacher did not like.
