ich frage mich ob folgender Satz so richtig ist (oder falls es beide sind welcher sprachlich besser klingt):
"However, neither the meaning of the term “new” nor the fields of changes to which an innovation might refer to are standardised in the literature."
oder sollte es
"However, neither is the meaning of the term “new” nor are the fields of changes to which an innovation might refer to standardised in the literature."
Gerne könnt ihr mir Alternativvorschläge zur Umformung machen.

Der 2. Satz ist definitiv sparchlich besser. Jedoch wuerde ich das letzte "the" weglassen, also:
However, neither is the meaning of the term “new” nor are the fields of changes to which an innovation might refer to standardised inthe literature.
