I tell you now something about the theater act which we visited last week. The title was “?”. The story is about the bullying, betrayal, peer group and friendship. The writes is Adams Kens and the director Kelly Billinger. The act taking place in Adam Village Thater, which lies in England.
As I read the title for the first time, I ask me: What means “?”? I search in the Internet for more information. Then I see, that has a bear upon mobbing. Mobbing means if someone attack, besets, bully or abuse someone else. This happens in the school or in the job. Mobbing can be verbal, emotional, or physical over a long time. I tell now something about the setting. Onstage you can see only a coffin and a pricket with a candle on the inside. Otherwise it was nothing onstage. Now I want to tell something about the music and the freezes in the act. In many important or interesting positions or sequence freeze the actors. And in the same moment the engineer play a loud music. In these sequences the visitors are prying and they wonder what would be happen now. The light effects are good. In the background it always appears a church. And sometimes if a person come in or go put from the stage, the lights are be directed at them. The props are the pizza, the knife, the clothes and the M&Ms.
Summary of the story
Markus and Alex are two pupils. They go to the church, not to pray to God but to see their classmate Steven for the last time. Steven commit suicide, because everyone bullied him. Markus and Alex too. They want to open the coffin and steal the ring from Steven. Suddenly appears a girl. She know Steven from a online chat. Steven tell her his entire life. Maria, the girl wo know Steven from a online chat, start a conflict with the two guys. After a long time Alex goes away because Maria means to Markus that Alex and Steven were the best friends in the past. Markus is acidify about that and say to Alex that he should be go away. In the course of the play Maria kiss Markus.
