Falscher Ansatz

Hallo,

ich wollte grad bei youtube auf das Kommntar einer Person antworten und dabei meinen Satz folgendermaßen beginnen:
"Es ist ein falscher Ansatz von [...] auszugehen."

Ich hab nur vage Ideen wie ich das übersetzen könnte.

Ich würde es mit

"It's a bad idea/approach to assume[...]"

übersetzen.

Da ein "gedanklicher Ansatz" ja approach ist, würde ich es dann eben auch mit bad oder wrong approach übersetzten.
