Andere Bedeutung mit to??'

Hallo Leute

Eigentlich weiss ich ja, dass es in der englischen Sprache nicht üblich ist einen solchen Satz so zu bilden. Dennoch habe ich es einmal versucht und mein Lehrer meinte dazu, das häbe eine andere Bedeutung, aber ist leider nicht genauer darauf eingegangen.

For example:

You can be sure not to be the only person who has such problems.

Correct:

You can be sure that you aren't the only person...

Was ist da der Unterschied???

Ein Unterschied bezieht sich auf die Verwendung der persönlichen Pronomen "Sie". Auf Englisch ist es üblich, um das Thema mehr als einmal innerhalb eines Satzes. Ein weiterer Unterschied ist, dass in der zweiten Beispiel einen Auftrag von 'are not: "aren't".

One difference relates to the use of the personal pronoun 'you'. In English it is common to state the subject more than once within a sentence. Another difference is that in the second example you used a contracted form of 'are not': "aren't".
