Übersetzung eines Satzes

Hallo, ich habe meine Schwierigkeiten mit der Übersetzung des ersten Abschnitts des folgenden Satzes:

"As first impressions are always very important, your letter should briefly outline the reasons why you are interested in working for the company and why you think you are the right person for the job."

Es wäre toll, wenn mir jemand diesen Satz übersetzen könnte.
