Hallo,
ich muss bald im Engl. Unterricht ein Bild beschreiben. Nun wollte ich einmal fragen wie ihr sagen würdet "Ich sehe auf dem Bild blabla"?
Also ich würde sagen "I see on the picture". Ist das gut? Habt ihr weitere Vorschläge?
Grüße
Peter

Es kommt drauf an, aus welcher Sicht du es beschreiben musst.
Muss du es subjektiv beschreiben, also in der Form "Auf dem Bild sehe ich 2 gelbe Bananen", dann verwendest du "On the picture I can see two yellow bananas".
Bleibst du objektiv, in der Form "Auf dem Bild sieht man zwei rote Erdbeeren", dann verwendest du "On the picture you can see two red strawberries".
Verstehst du?

If you say,"The picture shows that...," it is the same as saying, "The picture proves that...." So, "The picture shows that I was there last night," means "The picture proves that I was there last night." It doesn't even necessarily have to mean that the picture was taken last night or that the speaker is in it, just that it is evidence of something.
"The picture shows two bananas," sounds very unnatural. Someone will understand you, but it is no better than "On the picture." However, you can say, "The picture depicts two bananas," but unfortunately, this would only be said in a classroom or in a paper. "To depict" isn't a commonly used verb.
Most English speakers would say, "There are two bananas in the picture."
