Suche eine Übersetzung für das Wort "tanked". Müsste irgendwas mit "floppen" zu tun haben. Bin mir aber nicht sicher. Habe es wirklich nirgendwo gefunden.
Originaltext lautet: When they first released the film it tanked. So they pulled it - didn't do anything to it, just sat on it for six months - and then they re-released it and it was a huge hit.

When you say that something tanked, it means the value of that decreases. Thus, in this case the film became very unsuccessful so that they give up the film.
