Hallo Ihr Lieben !
Ich habe auch einen Satz von dem ich gerne wüsste ob er richtig ist. Und zwar:
Müsste es richtig heissen:
TH connects people oder
TH connect people
TH steht als Synonyme für eine Band. Man könnte genauso gut Genesis oder Abba oder The Beatles dafür einsetzen.
Vielleicht hat jemand die richtige Antwort und auch eine Erklärung parat. Wir diskutieren nämlich schon die ganze Zeit darüber.
DANKE für Eure Mühe
TH connect people / TH connects people ?

This is a subtle matter in English. I'll try to explain the basic idea, although I'm not a grammar expert myself (despite being a native speaker!).
Abba is a "singular" group, so one would say "Abba connects people". However, the Beatles are a "plural" group due to being called the Beatles instead of the Beatle. Thus I would say, "The Beatles connect people."
I would say that, as a general rule, if the bands name is singular (wie Rammstein, Wir Sind Helden, Pink Floyd, Madsen), then one would say "Rammstein/Radiohead/etc. connects people."
But if the bands name is a plural form of something (wie The Talking Heads, The Pretenders, The Distillers), then one would say "The Talking Heads connect people."
However, there are exceptions to this, such as the bands 'System of a Down', there is nothing "plural" about this band name (it's not Systems of a Down), but I would always say "System of a Down connects people."
Perhaps someone else will be able to explain this better. It's one of the finer points of English, and for a native speaker who doesn't really have to think about it, it can be a challenge to try to explain how it works.

Thank you so much ......I was in a Chat-Room with a lot of English native speakers, and they told me the same ....they said, that it have to be:
Tokio Hotel connects people .....
So, ....I will give the information to my girls ...and I think they will be glad about finding something out ...hope you could understand my English ...because I am not good in grammar anymore ....and there is often no chance to practice English with people, because for me it is still my favourite language ..but not for the bigger part of my friends.
Lots of love to you !!!
