Hi folks,

is it OK to use 'so far' at the end of an informal message like a SMS or a email to a friend e.g.?
And what does it exactly mean in this usage?

If "so far" can be used or not really depends on the context. What do you want to write?

I just want to use it as a 'Goddbye', like 'so long'.

So far is never used as a replacement for goodbye or so long.

You can use so far at the end of a sentence (but not as goodbye)

z.B. "Who have you called so far"
